Coffee table in recycled larch wood for living room

Coffee table made with recycled larch and fir wood.

Measures of the coffee table: 50cm wide, 45cm high and 72.5cm long.

The 3 boards that form the top of the table are made of larch and as a first step they were burned with the Shou Sugi Ban technique to increase their resistance and to enhance the beauty of the wood grain. They were subsequently finished with water-based varnish. The boards measure 15.5cm wide, 4.5cm high and 72.5cm long.

As for the legs of the table, we tried to create squares starting from spruce strips that we recycled. They too were burned with the same technique mentioned above and are subsequently finished with water-based varnish. We have taken measurements to further strengthen the strength of the coffee table, they measure 7.5cm wide and 5.5cm deep.

The board that connects the two legs is always in larch like the 3 boards of the top.

Everything was fixed with glue and screws.
